The G1-32 is a workshop tool set designed to test, diagnose and repair the metering unit (also called suction control valve, SCV) found on common rail diesel pumps. The kit includes a precision pressure gauge, a transparent test hose with quick coupler, and nine adapter heads that cover the most common metering unit bodies in the aftermarket.

With the G1-32, a technician can verify the opening pressure, leakage rate and response of a metering unit before it is reinstalled on a Bosch CP1 / CP3, Denso HP0 or Delphi DFP type pump. The set runs from shop-air or hand-pump pressure and shows the result directly on the dial gauge, so the test can be completed on the bench in minutes without an engine test bench.

The whole set is packed in a hard-shell carry case with custom foam insert. Each adapter has a labelled slot, which means the workshop never loses parts between jobs.
